Национальный банк Республики Казахстан 22 декабря 2017 года выпустил в обращение коллекционную монету серии «Магические символы».
«Тумар – это кожаный, серебряный, реже золотой футляр, в который непосредственно вкладывается необходимый амулет или талисман, - сообщает пресс-служба Нацбанка. - Считается, что ношение тумара обеспечивает владельцу защиту, благополучие и процветание. Коллекционная серебряная монета выполнена в виде трехгранного футляра, в который можно вложить амулет (талисман). В верхней части монеты расположен элемент крепления двух частей (аверса и реверса) монеты. Он выполнен в виде отверстия, вокруг оси которого происходит сдвиг аверса и реверса монеты для вложения амулета. Отверстие также может использоваться для крепления цепочки или шнура, с помощью которых ее можно носить в виде медальона-оберега. Фиксация частей монеты от самопроизвольного сдвига осуществляется с помощью магнитного замка. Открытие магнитного замка осуществляется путем легкого разъединения аверса и реверса нижней стороны монеты и сдвига их относительно друг друга».
В центральной части аверса серебряной монеты в две строки указан номинал - «100 ТЕҢГЕ», год чеканки - «2017», а также есть надпись «Ag 925 31,1g», обозначающая металл, из которого изготовлена монета, его пробу и массу. Надписи обрамляет национальный орнамент, бусовый ободок и надписи - «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКI» (на казахском языке) и «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN» (на английском языке). В левой части монеты изображен торговый знак Казахстанского монетного двора, в правой – логотип Национального банка Республики Казахстан.
Реверс коллекционной монеты инкрустирован полудрагоценным камнем (бирюзой), который обрамлен национальным орнаментом, бусовым ободком и надписями - «ТҰМАР • СИҚЫРЛЫ НЫШАНДАР» (на казахском языке) и «MAGIC OF SYMBOLS • TUMAR» (на английском языке). В левой и правой частях монеты изображены элементы орнаментального узора.
